A shade sail has curved edges which assist it to be tensioned correctly.
Typically the depth of the curve is between 6% and 10% of the length of the edge depending on factors such as number of edges, size and shape of Shade sail etc.
I.E. a 5000mm Shade Sail edge will have between approx 300mm and 500mm curve depth at the middle point of the curve.
We fabricate our Shade Sails with the least amount of curve we consider appropriate so as the Shade Sail will tighten correctly

Pricing on our site is for webbing edge sails and includes GST and Freight within Australia.
If you require a pocket and cable it will cost approx 55-60% more than that of a Webbing Edge Sail.
Typically there is no advantage for a DIY sail to be fabricated with a hem and wire running through it.
